WHAT THE PROS SAY ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

  • KEVIN CONSTANTINE
    HEAD COACH EVERETT SILVERTIPS

“There’s a website called The Coaches Site, It’s for hockey coaches. They put on a coaching clinic attended by about 200 people in Vancouver every year. I’ve been a speaker a couple times and I’ve been just an attendee a couple times. This year the coaches there from our league were Don Nachbaur, Don Hay, myself and Lorne Molleken. I don’t know why those guys were there or other people weren’t. All I know is those other guys have a lot of wins in this league (1,872 combined as they rank second, third and fourth in career WHL coaching victories), and there they are. They’re at a coaching clinic as attendees, listening to speakers and trying to learn when you would imagine after being in this league as long as they have there’s nothing left for them to learn. I just think that you’re either getting better or you’re getting worse, I’d like to stay on the side of continuing education because I want to keep getting better. ”

  • Maco Balkovec
Hockey Director, Burnaby Winter Club PCHA

“First class event with a great hockey environment and culture. Top notch speakers that really understand their audience and can deliver the message that will help you grow as a coach and mentor of athletes. This conference will bring the best out of you heading into the new season”

  • Yogo Svejkovsky
    Assistant Coach, Vancouver Giants WHL

“The coaching conference provides a unique opportunity for aspiring coaches to learn from the best within the game of hockey. The content which the conference delivers is an invaluable resource that I have been able to apply regularly in my daily work.”

  • Adam Maglio
Assistant Coach, Prince George Spruce Kings BCHL

“The conference is a terrific resource for coaches of any level. The Coaches Site brings in speakers with such a great depth and variety of knowledge you can’t help but learn something that you take back to your program. It’s a great opportunity to listen to passionate and knowledgeable people talk about the game we all love”
